Today, we share how to strengthen a positive mindset through COPING SKILLS. This is having the ability to work through challenging life events by using solution-oriented and emotion-focused skills.
Why it matters
If there’s one thing that’s certain in life, it’s that it’s filled with challenges and frustration. Coping skills help us stay solution-oriented rather than focusing on blame. It shifts us into being problem solvers rather than victims. Being able to thrive despite adversity is a hallmark of resilience and the good news is that learning to cope with difficult circumstances is a teachable skill.
