Final Reflections
The best thing we can do for ourselves and our kids is to be intentional about how we set expectations, form healthy habits, and share our emotions. Often, it all starts with awareness. We can’t be intentional and mindful about things we’re not aware of. Hopefully, you and your child (or students) have gained a deep awareness of the 12 behaviors we’ve explored in this positivity toolbox.
Note: You can access all 12 behaviors, sets of activities, and discussion questions in the archive if you are a paid subscriber. Find it HERE
Pick a few you can commit to
You can leverage the behaviors that feel most natural to you to develop routines that will boost your family’s positivity, resilience, and confidence. Remember you don’t need to engage in all 12 behaviors to gain the long-term benefits. Pick a few that you know you and your child can commit to, and then create some rituals around them. For example, going to bed and thinking of one thing you’re really looking forward to the next day will provide immediate as well as long-term benefits.
