Today, we share how to strengthen a positive mindset through FORGIVENESS. This is the act of replacing ill will towards an offender with goodwill, and letting go of associated anger.
Why it matters
There’s no way to avoid feelings of being wronged by another. But holding on to pain and anger only harms us. It’s important to understand that forgiving someone is not the equivalent of condoning or forgetting their behavior. How we forgive will vary depending on each situation, but the other person doesn't even have to know you forgave them for you to reap the benefits of letting go of your negative emotions. Ultimately, forgiving is a gift we give ourselves.
